Dr Ravi Sandhu

MBBS, Cert in Migrant Health and Tropical Medicine, General Practitioner

I have been in General Practice in Auckland for the past 24 years.  Born in Tanzania, grew up in Uganda and I did my medicine in Punjab, India.  I came to New Zealand in 1978 and worked at the Waikato Hospital for 6 years: initially as an intern and then registrar.

I moved to Auckland in 1984 and have been in the city in General Practice since.  I owned my own practice in K'Road for a while before leaving for 2 year OE.

I came back to NZ in 1992 and started working in Accident Medical clinics and then moving into General Practice Locum work.
I have worked in parts of Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand.  I started working as a locum with City Med in late 2005 and have now joined the team as a full time Director.

My interests include Mens Health, Sexual Health, Migrant and Tropical Medicine and Accident and Sports medicine work.

I am also able to do NZ immigration medicals.
